2000年に建築学科卒業後、アメリカに本社を置く国際的なデザイン事務所ゲンスラーに入社。デザインとプロジェクトマネジメント両方において経験を重ね、2007年から３年間にわたりサンフランシスコ本社にて商業関連プロジェクトに関わる。その後東京オフィスに戻りライフスタイル（商環境）デザインスタジオを設立。デザインコンサルタント及びプロジェクトマネージャーとしてクライアントをサポートしながらスタジオディレクターとしてチームを牽引し、国内、海外問わず多数のプロジェクトを成功へ導いた。

大企業だけでなく中小企業もサポートすべく2019年11月にSynosys Design and Directions LLCを設立。2022年3月にシノシスデザイン株式会社へ社名変更。ユーザー、施主、コミュニティーが持つ潜在需要を導き出し、相乗効果をもったデザインソリューションによりクライアントのビジネスの発展をサポートする。

After graduating from the Department of Architecture in 2000, Nagato joined Gensler Tokyo. Gaining experience in both, design and project management, he worked at Gensler’s headquarters in the US for three years and was involved in the design of commercial facilities. After returning to Japan, Nagato established the Commercial Design Department for the firm. While supporting clients as a design consultant and project manager, he led the team as a studio director, leading numerous successful projects in Japan and overseas and growing the studio to over 40 people.

In November, 2019 Nagato established Synosys Design and Directions LLC to create his own design studio, with the aim to not only support big size companies, but also small and medium size businesses.  In 2022 Synosys Design & Directions changed into Synosys Design Inc. We aim to help our clients to create successful and synergetic design projects with the knowledge of todays leading design practices.
